Akurei-Shirikon

Well hello, lovely appreciators of my work. I finally decided it was time to clean up my dA account, leaving what I consider to be the best of my old work still up for display. My style and abilities have grown quite a bit, and quite frankly some of my first attempts at photography were almost embarrassing. I haven't been able to bring myself to go through my old sketches yet - perhaps some more recent pieces will be added soon (I have not yet decided, but they have not been my main focus). I hope you all enjoy my future endeavours.

It seems absolutely ridiculous to write in this devious journal of mine. I'm not exactly a professional artist or photographer with a schedule to keep up with. I'm still just a student with a hobby. Oh well! As I organize myself and my recently taken photographs, I'll periodically upload them. Sketching has sort of fallen to the wayside, along with the vast majority of my artistic talents. Studying in the sciences will do that to you. It's depressing, really. I've devoted my life to biology, and somehow lost so many other things that I enjoy in the process. That, and I'm lazy. Sooo... I see I've been slacking. It's true. I have. Most of my recent "work" has been either mediocre (not to say my posted work is anything near a masterpiece) or of subjects I haven't felt any need to publish. I'll try to remedy this, but if anyone is actually waiting for me to upload anything, don't expect too much. I will be slow, and what ends up being posted may not be interesting to anyone but me. Regardless, I appreciate everyone who does care even the slightest about my artistic/photographic fancies, so thanks to you.
